At Country Kids Learning Centre, we believe that each individual child is the core of our curriculum. We believe that through play, children create a personal lesson plan unique to their development. Our play-based curriculum supports your child's learning and development.
We believe children thrive outdoors, so we spend as much time outside as safely possible, including snack, lunch, and nap times. We embrace Manitoba's weather and adjust our environment to ensure children experience nature's beauty. Nature allows freedom for children to think, explore, question, and search for answers.
We have 16 highly qualified staff with diverse skills and cultural backgrounds: 2 ECE III, 7 ECE II's, and 7 full-time and part-time CCA's. Our staff work closely with children, supporting them in developing social skills, cleaning, transitioning, eating, and resting. Our goal is to ensure each child has a strong connection with at least one adult. Most of our staff are trained in the Circle of Security Parenting Program, based on 50 years of attachment theory research. We understand that when a child feels connected, they feel confident, safe, loved, and guided.
