East Transcona Before and After Program Inc.

East Transcona Before and After Program Inc. provides before and after school care for children attending Harold Hatcher Elementary School. We offer a play-based and problem-based learning environment, encouraging children's choices in daily activities. Our vision is to create a warm, caring, nurturing, inclusive, and anti-biased environment for every child and family, promoting self-esteem and socialization through developmentally appropriate group experiences. We provide a light, nutritious snack that includes at least two food groups and always contains a fruit or vegetable option.

We prioritize siblings of already enrolled children. Registration happens annually in the springtime at our 500 Redonda Street location. We have 30 Kindergarten spaces and 112 school-age spaces.
