Little Wings Preschool Co-Op. Inc.

Little Wings preschool is located in a K-12 school in Powerview, Manitoba, and serves children from surrounding communities, including three First Nation communities. They offer both a morning program for 3-year-olds and an afternoon program for 4-year-olds. The preschool values children of all abilities and arranges learning centers to be accessible to all. Learning experiences are a mix of planned activities (based on children's interests) and spontaneous activities, which follow children's leads. Examples of planned activities include themed exploration using books, crafts, songs, games, and science exploration. Spontaneous activities have included creating a fairy tale based on children's interest in knights and dragons, incorporating readily available materials.
