About the Daycare

Our Children, Our Future/Nos enfants, notre avenir is guided by its vision statement of "Empowering and supporting children as well as families to foster a healthy future for our communities" and its values of development, inclusiveness, collaboration and excellence. Our values are based upon the Four Foundations (Belonging, Well-being, Engagement and Expression) of "How Does Learning Happen?" and embedded in our everyday operations. Our Educators provide a play-based curriculum for all children based on our Program Statement with support from our organization's Pedagogical Coordinator. We believe children, families and our personnel as being competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. We welcome family participation which will strengthen our relationship. Our daycares provide an open, welcoming and safe environment for all based on mutual respect.

Programs Offered

Welcome to our preschool program. We offer a play-based learning environment which is a way of planning curriculum based on the children's interest and passion. This requires observation, documentation, creative brainstorming, flexibility and patience on the part of the Educator. It is child-centered and Educator facilitated. We provide children with opportunities to follow their natural curiosity through meaningful explorations and experimenting, playing, inquiring and creating with their body, mind and senses. Children thrive in programs where they and their families are valued as active participants and contributors.
