St. James Assiniboia Montessori School Inc.

St. James Assiniboia Montessori School Inc. is a licensed, non-profit nursery school located at 3180 McBey Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba. We've been providing high-quality care and education for over 50 years. Our philosophy centers on affordability, ensuring all families can access a Montessori preschool education regardless of their socioeconomic background. Fees are $5/day (as mandated by the provincial government), and the Manitoba Subsidy Program is available.

We blend the Montessori Method with Developmentally Appropriate Practices to support the whole child's growth. We welcome children with additional support needs and have extensive experience supporting all children and families. Our educators are both ECEs and Montessorians, exceeding the required staff-to-child ratio.

We operate from September to June, closing in July and August. Nursery school is half-day sessions for children aged 2.5-6 years. Full-day sessions are unavailable due to our licensing. Families can add their children to our waitlist for future years via our website.

Mornings: 8:45 AM to 11:30 AM
Afternoons: 12:45 PM to 3:30 PM
We offer 3, 4, and 5 days per week spaces.
