About the Daycare
FJNS is a PART TIME non profit educational program run by a parent board. We are dedicated to providing quality early learning education to preschool children ages 3-5. Children are enrolled in either morning or afternoon sessions, offered twice per week from mid-September to mid-June. We are located within a school so follow the Seine River School Division calendar.
Programming at FJNS is designed to promote children's growth and learning in all developmental areas, while helping to prepare children and their families for the transition to kindergarten. Our educators offer a program that provides a balance of child-initiated and adult-led activities, that foster learning through play.
Our staff includes 2 educators: ECE 3/Director & CCA. We have a passion for science so gear many lessons to learning about the world around us and enjoy the challenge of adapting activities on the spot to match the children’s interests. We also incorporate various themes, celebrations, cultures, etc. into our programming.
Programs Offered
