About the Daycare
Waverley Heights Child Care is a non-profit community service providing care for children aged 2-12. It's a licensed, government-subsidized program staffed by trained and experienced Early Childhood Educators. A Board of Directors, comprised of parents, guardians, and community volunteers, oversees the daycare.
The daycare maintains staff-to-child ratios according to licensing regulations and is licensed for 85 children. Programs are organized around weekly themes (plants, animals, occupations, etc.), incorporating outdoor play, free play, circle time, baking, science activities, singing, crafts, and field trips during breaks and summer. A wide variety of learning materials are available.
