Wee Bairns Infant Care Centre

Wee Bairns Infant Care Centre provides care for up to 8 infants between 12 weeks and 24 months old. Located in a high school, we prioritize adolescent parents returning to complete their high school education. Parents are responsible for providing all snacks and meals.

Enrollment Policies:

• Priority given to infants of adolescent parents in the River East Transcona School Division completing high school.
• Remaining spaces are filled with other infants, but priority remains with adolescent parents.
• Non-student parents may be asked to find alternate care if needed to accommodate adolescent parents.
• Registration opens when a spot becomes available (child aging out or withdrawal). Enrollment is from our waitlist. Priority is as follows:
  1. Murdoch MacKay Collegiate students completing their education
  2. Wee Bairns Infant Care Centre staff
  3. Murdoch MacKay Collegiate staff
  4. Community
