About the Daycare
The YMCA - Adamsdale offers a full-day Family Grouping Program, before and after school care, programs for professional development days and school breaks. Their YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum uses a small group, play-based inquiry approach. Qualified educators engage in play with children. Before and After school programs include indoor and outdoor physical activities, dramatic play, problem-solving activities, and nutritious snacks. A new full-day licensed center is opening at their Adamsdale location (tentative opening date: April 2019).
Their Summer Club offers a licensed childcare program with an outdoor and recreational focus for school-aged children. Activities include cooperative and team games, creative arts, field trips, physical activities and sports, water play, nature exploration, science, special events, and guest visitors.
